Testing is becoming more and more important within the development process. That’s why these tasks require qualified experts. The ability to apply established methodologies for software testing as well as the knowledge of standard definitions and terms are key issues for the success of the project.

Our ISTQB® Certified Tester (Foundation Level) training provides knowledge about the activities of the software testing process (from planning over test design to the test execution) as well as the associated documentation. This training teaches the basics of software testing and enables you to efficiently apply methods and techniques in practice.

CONTENTS

The training follows the official ISTQB® Certified Tester (Foundation Level) Syllabus and covers mainly the following topics:

  • Fundamentals of testing
  • Testing throughout the software life cycle
  • Static testing
  • Test design techniques
  • Test management
  • Tool support for testing

Testimonials

"I gained enormously from the  ISTQB® Certified Tester (Foundation Level) course I took with Reto Müller.

I appreciated the fact that it was about much more than just exam preparation.  The exam preparation was in fact very thorough, but more than that, Reto helped us to think fundamentally about testing and what we are trying to achieve.  I took away some key principles that I apply daily in my work now.  Taking the time to learn some terminology is also useful when collaborating with testers and developers.

Reto created a convivial team atmosphere on the course which lead to interesting exchanges with other testers. The comfortable surroundings of the Hotel Krone and the excellent catering were helpful." (Apr 17)

Dr. Stefan Tresch, RUAG Schweiz AG, RUAG Defence
